Festival Dates

The 2010 Crossroads Festival will be held on Friday August 6th, Saturday, August 7th and Sunday, August 8th.

Festival Location

The 2010 Crossroads Festival will be held at Four Seasons Park in Shorewood. Four Seasons Park is located at 25520 W. Seil Road. Click here for a Yahoo Map.

Bands

The Chamber is again excited to be brining you great entertainment during the festival weekend.  On both Friday and Saturday evening there will be a $5.00 cover charge for entry into the entertainment (beer) tent startinga at 5:00pm for anyone 21 and over. No one under the age of 21 will be allowed to stay in the tent past 7:00pm both evenings.

Friday Entertainment

	5:00pm to 8:30pm - The Steel Drum Guy Join us for authentic Caribbean, Calypso and Latin style music, a great relaxing way to start your weekend. Visit www.thesteeldrumguy.com
	9:00pm to 12:00am - Pirates over 40 Enjoy and evening of Jimmy Buffett favorites mixed in with an eclectic mix of oldies, reggae and classic rock. Visit www.piratesover40.com

Saturday Entertainment

	9:30pm to 1:00am - ARRA Back by popular demand! Join us for a "rockin" evening listening to all of your favorite classic rock tunes.  Visit www.arraweb.com

Carnival

The carnival at this year`s festival will be open:

Friday 4pm to 11pm - Unlimited ride specials from 4pm to 8pm
Saturday 12pm to 11pm - Unlimted ride specials from 1pm to 5pm
Sunday 12pm to 7pm - Unlimited ride specials from 1pm to 5pm

Fireworks

Special thank you to the Village of Shorewood for again sponsoring a spectacular fireworks show on Saturday night at approximately 9:00pm.

Parking is available on the fest grounds at  no charge.

5K Race Information - 
Sponsored by Newsome Physical Therapy

The 5K race is staple at the Festival. The race will be held on Saturday, August 7th and will start at 8:00am. The Children`s Race will begin at 8:30am. $20 to register through August 2nd. $25 to register the day of the race.

The Chamber is always looking for individual and organziations/groups that are willing to volunteer at the festival. If you are interested, please complete the Volunteer Registration Form and send it back to the Chamber`s offices.

The Miss Shorewood and Jr. Miss Shorewood contests highlight the young ladies of the Shorewood Area. Being Crowned Miss or Jr. Miss Shorewood is quite an honor. For information and application click here.

Teen Battle of the Bands

The Teen Battle of the Bands will be held on Sunday, August 8th from 3:00pm to 5:45pm. Local teen bands will perform three to five songs and will be judged. All performance will take place on the main entertainment stage of the Festival. The winning band will receive $100 and have the opportunity to "close" the fest with a full performance set from 6pm to 7pm. Register before July 23rd to participate.

 Children`s Coloring Contest - Sponsored by PostNet

This contest is open to children ages 4 to 12 and divided into the following divisions: Ages 4 to 6; Ages 7 to 9; Ages 10 to 12. One winner will be awarded per division. Submissions must be dropped off or mailed to PostNet, 1147 Brook Forest Avenue, Shorewood, IL 60404, (815) 230-2222 no later than Monday, August 2, 2010. Pages must be colored in crayon.
